Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
अग्न्यभावे च कुरुते वह्निस्थानेषु काउ्चनम् | जामदग्न्य प्रमाणज्ञो वेदश्रुतिनिदर्शनात्
agnyabhāve ca kurute vahnistāneṣu kāñcanam | jāmadagnyaḥ pramāṇajño vedaśrutinidarśanāt ||
বসিষ্ঠ বললেন—অগ্নি অনুপস্থিত হলে, যেখানে অগ্নির স্থান নির্দিষ্ট, সেখানে স্বর্ণ ব্যবহার করা যায়—বৈদিক শ্রুতির দৃষ্টান্তে এটি প্রমাণিত। হে জামদগ্ন্য পরশুরাম, প্রমাণজ্ঞ ব্যক্তি এভাবেই করে।
