Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ते दीनमनस: सर्वे देवता ऋषयश्न ये । प्रजग्मु: शरण देवं ब्रह्माणमजरं विभुम्,वे सब देवता और ऋषि दीनचित्त हो अजर-अमर एवं सर्वव्यापी देवता भगवान् ब्रह्माकी शरणमें गये
te dīna-manasaḥ sarve devatā ṛṣayaś ca ye | prajagmuḥ śaraṇaṃ devaṃ brahmāṇam ajaraṃ vibhum ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—সকল দেবতা ও ঋষি মন বিষণ্ণ করে অজর, সর্বব্যাপী দেব ব্রহ্মার শরণে গেলেন, বিপদের মুহূর্তে রক্ষা ও পথনির্দেশ প্রার্থনা করতে।
