Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
समानवत्सां कृष्णां तु धेनुं दत््वा पयस्विनीम् । सुव्रतां वस्त्रसंवीतामग्निलोके महीयते
samānavatsāṃ kṛṣṇāṃ tu dhenuṃ dattvā payasvinīm | suvratāṃ vastrasaṃvītām agniloke mahīyate ||
বসিষ্ঠ বললেন— যে ব্যক্তি দুধ-দেওয়া সুলক্ষণী কৃষ্ণবর্ণা গাভীকে, একই বর্ণের বাছুরসহ, বস্ত্রাবৃত করে দান করে— সে অগ্নিলোকে মর্যাদা ও সম্মান লাভ করে।
