गवां लोकवर्णनं तथा गोप्रदानफलश्रुतिः

मातर: सर्वभूतानां गाव: सर्वसुखप्रदा: । वृद्धिमाकाडुक्षता नित्यं गाव: कार्या: प्रदक्षिणा:
mātaraḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ gāvaḥ sarvasukhapradāḥ | vṛddhim ākāṅkṣatā nityaṁ gāvaḥ kāryāḥ pradakṣiṇāḥ ||
গাভীগণ সকল প্রাণীর মাতা বলে খ্যাত; তারা সর্বসুখপ্রদা। অতএব যে উন্নতি ও সমৃদ্ধি কামনা করে, তার উচিত নিত্য গাভীদের প্রদক্ষিণ করা।
