न चोषरां न निर्दग्धां महीं दद्यात् कथंचन
Transliteration
na coṣarāṃ na nirdagdhāṃ mahīṃ dadyāt kathaṃcana
Translation
ভীষ্ম বললেন—কোনো অবস্থাতেই লবণাক্ত-উষর ও অনুর্বর জমি, কিংবা দগ্ধ হয়ে নিষ্ফল হয়ে যাওয়া ভূমি দান করা উচিত নয়।
