इत्येतद् गोषु मे प्रोक्त माहात्म्यं भरतर्षभ । गुणैकदेशवचनं शक्यं पारायणं न तु
ity etad goṣu me proktaṃ māhātmyaṃ bharatarṣabha | guṇaikadeśavacanaṃ śakyaṃ pārāyaṇaṃ na tu ||
এইভাবে, হে ভরতবংশের শ্রেষ্ঠ! আমি তোমাকে গাভীদের মাহাত্ম্য বললাম। কিন্তু যা বলা হল তা তাদের গুণের কেবল একাংশ; কিছু বলা সম্ভব, সম্পূর্ণ গুণসমূহের পূর্ণ পাঠ বা সমাপ্তি করা সম্ভব নয়।
