Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
भीष्म उवाच महर्षेरवचनं श्रुत्वा नहुषो दुःखकर्शित: । स चिन्तयामास तदा सहामात्यपुरोहित:
bhīṣma uvāca mahārṣer vacanaṃ śrutvā nahuṣo duḥkhakarśitaḥ | sa cintayāmāsa tadā sahāmātya-purohitaḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—মহর্ষির বাক্য শুনে দুঃখে কাতর রাজা নহুষ গভীরভাবে বিচলিত হলেন। তখন তিনি মন্ত্রী ও পুরোহিতকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে কী করা উচিত তা নিয়ে পরামর্শ ও চিন্তা করতে লাগলেন।
