एको विड्वर्ण एवाथ तथात्रैवोपलक्षित: । षडपध्वंसजास्ते हि तथैवासपदान् शृणु
eko viḍvarṇa evātha tathātraivopalakṣitaḥ | ṣaḍapadhvaṃsajāste hi tathaivāsapadān śṛṇu ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—এখানেও একটি মিশ্র বর্ণ বিশেষভাবে নির্দেশিত হয়েছে। সত্যই, এই আলোচনাতেই এই ছয় ‘অপধ্বংসজ’ (অনুলোম-সন্তান) উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। এখন ‘অপসদ’—অর্থাৎ প্রতিলোম সংযোগে জন্ম—তাদের বিবরণ শোনো।
