ब्राह्मणानां सतामेष ब्राह्मो धर्मो युधिष्ठिर । आवाह्गामावहेदेवं यो दद्यादनुकूलत:
brāhmaṇānāṃ satām eṣa brāhmo dharmo yudhiṣṭhira | āvāhāgāmāvah edeṃvaṃ yo dadyād anukūlataḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন— হে যুধিষ্ঠির! সদাচারী ব্রাহ্মণদের এই ব্রাহ্ম ধর্ম— যাকে সম্মানসহকারে আহ্বান করে যথাযোগ্য অভ্যর্থনা করা হয়, তাকে তার মঙ্গল ও অনুকূলতা অনুযায়ী দান করা উচিত।
