भीष्म उवाच यत् किंचित् कर्म मानुष्यं संस्थानाय प्रदृश्यते । मन्त्रवन्मन्त्रितं तस्थ मृषावादस्तु पातक:
bhīṣma uvāca yat kiñcit karma mānuṣyaṃ saṃsthānāya pradṛśyate | mantravanmantritaṃ tastha mṛṣāvādastu pātakaḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—মানুষের যে কোনো কর্ম যদি শৃঙ্খলা ও স্থিতি প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্যই করা হয়, তা পরামর্শের মতো গোপনে ও বিচক্ষণতায় সম্পন্ন হলেও—মিথ্যা বাক্য তবু পাপ।
