On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
अन््यं वरं वृणीष्व त्वं दुर्लभो5यं हि ते वर: । अत: जिनका मन अपने वशमें नहीं है
śakra uvāca | anyaṃ varaṃ vṛṇīṣva tvaṃ durlabho ’yaṃ hi te varaḥ |
শক্র বললেন—তুমি অন্য বর চাও; তুমি যে বর চাইছ, তা তোমার পক্ষে সত্যিই দুর্লভ। অতএব যাদের মন নিজের বশে নয়, তাদের জন্য ব্রাহ্মণ্য সর্বতোভাবে দুর্লভ; সেই জেদ ত্যাগ করে অন্য বর প্রার্থনা কর।
