यह तीर्थ-सेवनका कार्य परम पवित्र, पुण्यप्रद, स्वर्गकी प्राप्तिका सर्वोत्तम साधन और वेदोंका गुप्त रहस्य है। प्रत्येक तीर्थ पावन और स्नानके योग्य होता है ।।
idaṃ dadyād dvijātīnāṃ sādhōr ātma-hitasya ca | suhṛdāṃ ca japet karṇe śiṣyasyānugatasya ca ||
তীর্থসেবনের এই বিধান পরম পবিত্র, পুণ্যপ্রদ, স্বর্গলাভের শ্রেষ্ঠ উপায় এবং বেদের গূঢ় রহস্য; প্রত্যেক তীর্থই পবন ও স্নানযোগ্য। এই তীর্থ-মাহাত্ম্য দ্বিজদের, আত্মকল্যাণকামী সাধুজনের, সুহৃদদের এবং শাসনানুগত শিষ্যের কানে গোপনে জপে শোনানো উচিত।
