पिण्डारक उपस्पृश्य एकरात्रोषितो नर: । अग्निष्टोममवाप्रोति प्रभातां शर्वरीं शुचि:
Piṇḍāraka upaspṛśya ekarātroṣito naraḥ | Agniṣṭomam avāpnoti prabhātāṃ śarvarīṃ śuciḥ ||
যে ব্যক্তি পিণ্ডারক তীর্থে স্নান করে সেখানে এক রাত্রি অবস্থান করে, সে প্রভাতে শুচি হয়ে অগ্নিষ্টোম যজ্ঞের ফল লাভ করে।
अजड्रिय उवाच
Ritual purity and disciplined observance at a sacred place—bathing at Piṇḍāraka and keeping a one-night vow—can confer merit equal to a major Vedic sacrifice (Agniṣṭoma), highlighting the power of tīrtha-practice when done with purity.
