Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
भीष्म उवाच दैवं पौर्वाह्निकं कुर्यादपराह्ने तु पैतृकम् मड़लाचारसम्पन्न: कृतशौच: प्रयत्नवान्
bhīṣma uvāca: daivaṃ paurvāhṇikaṃ kuryād aparāhṇe tu paitṛkam | maṅgalācāra-sampannaḥ kṛtaśaucaḥ prayatnavān ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—রাজন! পূর্বাহ্নে দেবসম্বন্ধীয় কর্ম ও দান করা উচিত, আর অপরাহ্নে পিতৃসম্বন্ধীয় কর্ম ও দান। স্নানাদি দ্বারা শুচি হয়ে, মঙ্গলাচারে সম্পন্ন এবং যত্নবান হয়ে এ সব পালন করতে হবে।
