प्रेषितस्तेन विप्रेण कन्यापित्रा द्विजर्षभ । तवोपदेशं कर्तु वै तच्च सर्व कृतं मया

Transliteration

preṣitas tena vipreṇa kanyāpitṛā dvijarṣabha | tavopadeśaṁ kartu vai tac ca sarvaṁ kṛtaṁ mayā ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে দ্বিজশ্রেষ্ঠ! সেই কন্যার পিতা ব্রাহ্মণ আমাকে তোমাকে উপদেশ পৌঁছে দিতে পাঠিয়েছিলেন; সেই সমগ্র দায়িত্ব আমি সম্পূর্ণ করেছি।
