आश्चर्य परम हीदं कि नु श्रेयो हि मे भवेत् । दिव्याभरणवत्त्रा हि कन्येयं मामुपस्थिता
āścaryaṁ parama hīdaṁ ki nu śreyo hi me bhavet | divyābharaṇavastrā hi kanyeyaṁ mām upasthitā ||
অষ্টাবক্র বললেন—এ তো পরম আশ্চর্য! এতে আমার কী মঙ্গল হবে? এই কন্যা দিব্য অলংকার ও বস্ত্রে ভূষিতা হয়ে আমার সেবায় উপস্থিত হয়েছে। যে পূর্বে বৃদ্ধা ছিল, সে-ই আজ কন্যারূপে এসে দাঁড়িয়েছে—এ মহাবিস্ময়। এ কি আমার কল্যাণকর হবে?
