Aṣṭāvakra and the Woman: Disclosure, Permission, and Marital Resolution (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय २२)
अद्टावक्र उवाच हरन्ति दोषजातानि नरं जात॑ यथेच्छकम् | प्रभवामि सदा धृत्या भद्रे स्वशयनं व्रज
aṣṭāvakra uvāca | haranti doṣajātāni naraṃ jātaṃ yathecchakam | prabhavāmi sadā dhṛtyā bhadre svaśayanaṃ vraja |
অষ্টাবক্র বললেন— ভদ্রে! যে মানুষ খেয়ালখুশিমতো চলে, দোষ ও পাপের দল তাকেই গ্রাস করে। আমি ধৈর্য ও সংযমে সর্বদা নিজেকে বশে রাখি; অতএব তুমি তোমার শয্যায় ফিরে যাও।
