Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
হৃদয়ে স্থির এই অভিপ্রায় জেনে দেবশ্রেষ্ঠ (শিব) আমাকে বললেন—“মুনে! আমার প্রতি তোমার যে শ্রদ্ধা-আকাঙ্ক্ষা, তারই ফলে তোমার ‘কৃষ্ণ’ নামে এক পুত্র হবে।”
