Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
ततः प्रणम्य शिरसा इदं वचनमन्रुवम् । यदि प्रीतो महादेवो भक्त्या परमया प्रभु:
tataḥ praṇamya śirasā idaṁ vacanam abruvam | yadi prīto mahādevo bhaktyā paramayā prabhuḥ ||
তখন আমি শির নত করে প্রণাম জানিয়ে বললাম—“যদি আমার পরম ভক্তিতে প্রভু মহাদেব প্রসন্ন হন, তবে হে ঈশান, আপনার প্রতি আমার ভক্তি যেন নিত্য-নিরন্তর অচল থাকে।” এ কথা বলে ভগবান শিব “এবমস্তু” বলে সেখানেই অন্তর্ধান করলেন।
