Gṛhastha-Vrata
दरिद्रश्चनासवर्णश्र॒ ममायमिति पार्थिव: । न दित्सति सुतां तस्मै तां विप्राय सुदर्शनाम्
daridraś cānāsavarṇaś ca mamāyam iti pārthivaḥ | na ditsati sutāṃ tasmai tāṃ viprāya sudarśanām ||
রাজা মনে মনে ভাবল—‘এ ব্যক্তি দরিদ্র, আর আমারই বর্ণেরও নয়’; তাই সে ব্রাহ্মণকে কন্যা সুদর্শনাকে বিবাহে দিতে সে সম্মত হল না।
