उत्तरां दिशमश्रित्य य एधन्ते निबोध तान्
bhīṣma uvāca | uttarāṃ diśam āśritya ye edhante nibodha tān | ṛṣir ugraśravāś caiva bhārgavaś cyavanas tathā ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—যাঁরা উত্তর দিকের আশ্রয় নিয়ে বৃদ্ধি ও মহিমা লাভ করেন, তাঁদের শোনো—ঋষি উগ্রশ্রবা এবং ভৃগুবংশীয় চ্যবন।
भीष्म उवाच

Bhishma continues a catalog-like instruction to Yudhishthira, naming sages who are said to prosper by resorting to the northern direction; in this verse he specifically mentions Ugraśravas and the Bhārgava sage Cyavana.
