तस्मात् पापं न गूहेत गूहमानं विवर्धयेत् । कृत्वा तत् साधुष्वाख्येयं ते तत् प्रशमयन्त्युत
tasmāt pāpaṃ na gūheta gūhamānaṃ vivardhayet | kṛtvā tat sādhūṣv ākhyeyaṃ te tat praśamayanty uta ||
অতএব পাপ গোপন করা উচিত নয়; গোপন পাপই বৃদ্ধি পায়। যদি কখনও পাপ ঘটে যায়, তবে তা সাধুজনের কাছে স্বীকার করা উচিত; তাঁরা তার প্রশমন করেন।
