नित्येन ब्रह्मचर्येण लिड्रमस्य यदा स्थितम् । महयत्यस्य लोकक्न प्रियं होतन्महात्मन:
nityena brahmacaryeṇa liṅgam asya yadā sthitam | mahayaty asya lokānāṁ priyaṁ hotaṁ mahātmanāḥ ||
বায়ু বললেন—যে ব্যক্তি নিত্য ব্রহ্মচর্য পালন করে প্রতিদিন এই শিবলিঙ্গের নিয়মিত পূজা করে, সে মহাত্মা শঙ্করের অতি প্রিয় হয়; তাতে লোকসমূহের মর্যাদা ও কল্যাণ বৃদ্ধি পায়।
