आपक्षुक्षुभिरे चैव चकम्पे च वसुन्धरा । व्यद्रवन् गिरयश्चापि द्यौ: पफाल च सर्वश:,समुद्र आदिका जल क्षुब्ध हो उठा, पृथ्वी काँपने लगी, पर्वत पिघलने लगे और आकाश सब ओरसे फटने-सा लगा
āpakṣu-kṣubhire caiva cakampe ca vasundharā | vyadravan girayaś cāpi dyauḥ paphāla ca sarvaśaḥ ||
সমুদ্রাদি জলরাশি প্রচণ্ডভাবে ক্ষুব্ধ হয়ে উঠল, পৃথিবী কেঁপে উঠল, পর্বতসমূহও যেন গলে এদিক-ওদিক ছুটতে লাগল, আর আকাশ চারদিকে ফেটে যাওয়ার মতো মনে হল।
