तस्यैवोर्ध्व॑ तिर्यगधश्षुरन्ति गभस्तयो मेदिनीं भासयन्त: । त॑ं ब्राह्मणा वेदविदो जुषन्ति तस्यादित्यो भामुपयुज्य भाति

Transliteration

tasyaivordhvaṁ tiryag adhaś ca śuranti gabhastayo medinīṁ bhāsayantaḥ | taṁ brāhmaṇā vedavido juṣanti tasyādityo bhām upayujya bhāti ||

Translation

সেই এক পরম তত্ত্ব থেকেই ঊর্ধ্বে, তির্যকভাবে ও অধঃদিকে রশ্মি প্রবাহিত হয়ে পৃথিবীকে আলোকিত করে। বেদজ্ঞ ব্রাহ্মণগণ সেই তত্ত্বকেই শ্রদ্ধায় সেবা করেন, আর তাঁরই দীপ্তি অবলম্বন করে সূর্যদেব জ্যোতির্ময় হন।
