मदस्यास्यमनुप्राप्ता यदा सेन्द्रा दिवौकस: । तदैव च्यवनेनेह हृता तेषां वसुन्धरा
Transliteration
madasyāsyam anuprāptā yadā sendrā divaukasaḥ | tadaiva cyavaneneha hṛtā teṣāṃ vasundharā ||
Translation
যখন ইন্দ্রসহ সমস্ত দেবতা মদ (অহংকার/উন্মত্ততা)-এর মুখে পতিত হয়েছিল, ঠিক সেই সময়েই ঋষি চ্যবন এখানে তাদের পৃথিবীর অধিকার কেড়ে নিয়েছিলেন।
