अभ्यद्रवन्त देवांस्ते सहस्नाणि दशैव हि । ततस्तैरदिता देवा: शरणं वासवं ययु:

Transliteration

abhyadravant devāṁs te sahasrāṇi daśaiva hi | tatas tair aditā devāḥ śaraṇaṁ vāsavaṁ yayuḥ ||

Translation

তারা—সংখ্যায় দশ সহস্র—দেবতাদের ওপর ধেয়ে এল; তাদের দ্বারা পীড়িত হয়ে দেবতারা পালিয়ে গিয়ে বাসব (ইন্দ্র)-এর শরণ নিল।
