अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
आराधितो<भूद् भक्तेन तस्योदर्क निशामय । स दृष्टवान् महादेवमस्तौषीच्च स्तवैर्विभुम्
ārādhito 'bhūd bhaktena tasyodarkaṃ niśāmaya | sa dṛṣṭavān mahādevam astauṣīc ca stavair vibhum ||
বায়ু বললেন—সে ভক্তির ফল শোনো। ভক্তের শ্রদ্ধাপূর্ণ আরাধনায় প্রসন্ন হয়ে প্রভু ফল দান করলেন; তিনি মহাদেবকে দর্শন করলেন এবং স্তোত্রে সেই সর্বব্যাপী অধিপতিকে স্তব করলেন।
