रमणीयाश्व भूतानां निधानं च धृतव्रता: । प्रणेतारशक्षु लोकानां शास्त्राणां च यशस्विन:
ramaṇīyāś ca bhūtānāṁ nidhānaṁ ca dhṛtavratāḥ | praṇetāraś ca lokānāṁ śāstrāṇāṁ ca yaśasvinaḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তাঁরা সকল জীবের কাছে মনোরম ও প্রিয়; তাঁরা এক মহৎ ধনভাণ্ডার। ব্রতে অটল থেকে তাঁরা সমাজের পথপ্রদর্শক—শাস্ত্রের প্রবর্তক ও রক্ষক—এবং মহাযশস্বী।
