महेन्द्रगुरव: सप्त प्राचीं वै दिशमाश्रिता: । प्रयत: कीर्तयेदेतान् शक्रलोके महीयते
mahendraguravaḥ sapta prācīṃ vai diśam āśritāḥ | prayataḥ kīrtayed etān śakraloke mahīyate ||
মহেন্দ্রের গুরু নামে খ্যাত সাত মহর্ষি পূর্ব দিক আশ্রয় করে বাস করেন। যে ব্যক্তি সংযত ও শুদ্ধচিত্ত হয়ে শ্রদ্ধাভরে তাঁদের নাম উচ্চারণ করে, সে শক্রের (ইন্দ্রের) লোকেতে মর্যাদা ও প্রতিষ্ঠা লাভ করে।
