ऋषिर्मेधातिथे: पुत्र: कण्वो बर्हिषदस्तथा । ब्रह्मतेजोमया: सर्वे कीर्तिता लोकभावना:
ṛṣir medhātitheḥ putraḥ kaṇvo barhiṣadas tathā | brahma-tejomayāḥ sarve kīrtitā loka-bhāvanāḥ ||
মেধাতিথির পুত্র কণ্ব ঋষি এবং বর্হিষদও (তাঁদেরই মধ্যে)। এঁরা সকলেই ব্রহ্মতেজে পরিপূর্ণ, লোকের কল্যাণকারী ও ধারক বলে কীর্তিত।
