एष मे सर्वधर्माणां धर्मोडधिकतमो मत: । यद्धवत्या पुण्डरीकाक्षं स्तवैरचेंन्नर: सदा
eṣa me sarva-dharmāṇāṃ dharmo ’dhikatamo mataḥ | yad bhaktyā puṇḍarīkākṣaṃ stavair arcennaraḥ sadā ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—সকল ধর্মের মধ্যে আমার মতে এটাই সর্বোচ্চ ধর্ম: মানুষ যেন ভক্তিসহকারে পদ্মনয়ন প্রভু (বাসুদেব)-কে সর্বদা স্তোত্র-স্তবে অর্চনা করে।
