Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭho 'bhūd dharmayūpo mahāmakhaḥ | nakṣatranemir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmaḥ samīhanaḥ ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—তিনি নিরাশা ও বিকারহীন; বিরাট রূপে প্রতিষ্ঠিত; অজন্মা; ধর্মের স্তম্ভ এবং মহাযজ্ঞস্বরূপ। তিনি সকল নক্ষত্রের কেন্দ্র; নক্ষত্রাধিপতি (চন্দ্র); সর্বকার্যে সক্ষম; জগতের আশ্রয়ভূমি; এবং সৃষ্টি ও বিধান রক্ষায় সম্যক্ প্রয়াসী।
