ओजस्तेजोद्युतिधर: प्रकाशात्मा प्रतापन: । ऋद्धः स्पष्टाक्षरो मन्त्रश्नन्द्रांशुर्भास्करद्युति:
ojastejodyutidharaḥ prakāśātmā pratāpanaḥ | ṛddhaḥ spaṣṭākṣaro mantraś candrāṁśur bhāskaradyutiḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তিনি ওজ, তেজ ও দ্যুতি ধারণকারী; তাঁর আত্মস্বরূপই প্রকাশ, এবং তিনি নিজের বিভূতিতে দহন ও দমন করেন। তিনি ঋদ্ধ—ধর্ম, জ্ঞান ও বৈরাগ্যে সমৃদ্ধ; তাঁর অক্ষর স্পষ্ট—প্রকাশিত ওঁকার; তিনি বেদমন্ত্রস্বরূপ; তিনি চন্দ্রকিরণের ন্যায় সংসারতাপে দগ্ধ চিত্তকে শীতল করেন; এবং সূর্যের ন্যায় দীপ্তিমান।
