Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
अन्यथा बहुबुद्धयाढ्यो वाक््यं वदति संसदि । अन्यथैव हाहंवादी दुर्बलं वदते वच:
anyathā bahubuddhyāḍhyo vākyaṃ vadati saṃsadi | anyathaiva hāhaṃvādī durbalaṃ vadate vacaḥ ||
মহেশ্বর বললেন—বহু-বুদ্ধিতে সমৃদ্ধ ব্যক্তি সভায় এক রকম—বিবেচনাপূর্ণ ও প্রসঙ্গানুগ—কথা বলে; কিন্তু ‘আমি-ই’ বলে গর্বিত ব্যক্তি ভিন্নভাবে দুর্বল ও অবিশ্বাস্য বাক্য উচ্চারণ করে। যে জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানসম্পন্ন, বিচার-বিবেচনায় দক্ষ হয়ে নানা বক্তার কাছে নিজের সংশয় জিজ্ঞাসা করে, সে সংকটে পড়ে না।
