कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः
Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
।। विपरीतस्तु धर्मात्मा रूपवानभिजायते
viparītastu dharmātmā rūpavān abhijāyate | devi! hiṁsāpremī manuṣyaḥ svapāpakarmakāraṇād anyeṣāṁ vadhyaḥ sarvaprāṇinām apriyaś cālpāyuś ca bhavati ||
মহেশ্বর বললেন—যার স্বভাব হিংসার বিপরীত, সে ধর্মাত্মা ও রূপবান হয়ে জন্মায়। দেবী! যে মানুষ হিংসায় আনন্দ পায়, সে নিজের পাপকর্মের ফলে অন্যের দ্বারা বধ্য হয়, সকল প্রাণীর অপ্রিয় হয় এবং অল্পায়ু হয়।
