वाणिज्यं सत्पथस्थानमातिथ्यं प्रशमो दम: । विप्राणां स्वागतं त्यागो वैश्यधर्म: सनातन:
vāṇijyaṁ satpathasthānam ātithyaṁ praśamo damaḥ | viprāṇāṁ svāgataṁ tyāgo vaiśyadharmaḥ sanātanaḥ ||
শ্রী মহেশ্বর বললেন—সৎপথে প্রতিষ্ঠিত বাণিজ্য, অতিথিসেবা, শম ও দম, ব্রাহ্মণদের স্বাগত-সম্মান এবং ত্যাগ—এটাই বৈশ্যের সনাতন ধর্ম।
