अतिथिदव्रतता धर्मों धर्मस्त्रेताग्निधारणम् | इष्टी क्ष पशुबन्धां श्व विधिपूर्व समाचरेत्
atithidavr̥tatā dharmo dharmas tretāgnidhāraṇam | iṣṭīś ca paśubandhāṁś ca vidhpūrvam samācaret ||
অতিথিকে দেবতুল্য জেনে তার সেবায় অবিচল থাকা—অতিথি-সৎকার—তার ধর্ম; এবং ত্রেতাগ্নি (গার্হপত্যাদি তিন অগ্নি) ধারণ ও রক্ষণও ধর্ম। সে নানাবিধ ইষ্টি এবং পশুবন্ধ প্রভৃতি কর্মও বিধিপূর্বক পালন করবে।
