Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
विना भर्त्रां च रुद्रेण भविष्यति न संशय: । वंशे तवैव नाम्ना तु ख्यातिं यास्यति चेप्सिताम्
vinā bhartrāṁ ca rudreṇa bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ | vaṁśe tavaiva nāmnā tu khyātiṁ yāsyati cepsitām ||
বাসুদেব বললেন—‘স্বামী ছাড়াই—রুদ্রের শক্তিতে—এটি ঘটবেই; এতে সন্দেহ নেই। তোমারই বংশে সেই পুত্র তোমারই নামের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়ে, কাঙ্ক্ষিত খ্যাতি লাভ করবে।’
