Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यत् तद् भगवता पूर्व दत्त चक्रं तवानघ । जलान्तरचरं हत्वा दैत्यं च बलगर्वितम्
yat tad bhagavatā pūrva datta cakraṁ tavānagha | jalāntaracaraṁ hatvā daityaṁ ca balagarvitam ||
বাসুদেব বললেন—হে নিষ্পাপ! যে চক্রটি ভগবান পূর্বে তোমাকে দান করেছিলেন—জলের অন্তরে বিচরণকারী বল-গর্বে মত্ত দানবকে বধ করে—তা স্বয়ং বৃষধ্বজ (শিব) উৎপন্ন করে তোমাকে প্রদান করেছিলেন। অগ্নিসদৃশ দীপ্ত সেই অস্ত্র আশ্চর্য তেজে সমন্বিত ও অদম্য।
