सकृप्प्रभिन्नैश्व गजैर्विं भूषित॑ प्रहृषष्नानाविधपक्षिसेवितम् । सुपुष्पितैरम्बुधरप्रकाशै- महीरुहाणां च वनैर्विचित्रै:
sakṛt-prabhinnaiś ca gajair vibhūṣitaṃ prahṛṣṭa-nānā-vidha-pakṣi-sevitam | su-puṣpitair ambudhara-prakāśair mahī-ruhāṇāṃ ca vanair vicitram ||
যাদের কপাল থেকে প্রথমবার মদধারা ফেটে বেরিয়েছিল, এমন হাতিরা সেখানে উপবনের শোভা বাড়াচ্ছিল। আনন্দে উচ্ছ্বসিত নানা প্রকার পাখি গাছে গাছে বাসা বেঁধেছিল। অসংখ্য মহাবৃক্ষের বিচিত্র বন সুন্দর ফুলে ভরে মেঘের মতো দীপ্তিমান দেখাত; আর তাতেই সেই আশ্রম অপূর্ব শোভায় উদ্ভাসিত ছিল।
