Umā–Maheśvara Saṃvāda
भोजनं च यथाशतत्या ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे । पशुबन्धशतस्येह फल प्राप्रोति पुष्कलम्
Dhaumya uvāca— bhojanaṁ ca yathāśaktyā brāhmaṇe vedapārage | paśubandhaśatasyeha phalaṁ prāpnoti puṣkalam ||
যে ব্যক্তি নিজের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী বেদে পারদর্শী ব্রাহ্মণকে ভোজন করায়, সে এই লোকেই শত পশুবন্ধ-যজ্ঞের সমতুল্য পূর্ণ ও প্রাচুর্য ফল লাভ করে।
