श्रूयतां येन तुष्यामो मर्त्याना साधुकर्मणाम् । पितरोंने कहा--महाभाग देवताओ! आपने न्यायत:ः अपना संदेह उपस्थित किया है। उत्तम कर्म करनेवाले मनुष्योंके जिस कार्यसे हम संतुष्ट होते हैं, उसको सुनिये
śrūyatāṁ yena tuṣyāmo martyānāṁ sādhukarmaṇām |
পিতৃগণ বললেন—হে মহাভাগ দেবগণ! তোমরা ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে তোমাদের সংশয় উপস্থিত করেছ। এখন শোনো—সৎকর্মপরায়ণ মর্ত্যদের যে আচরণ ও যে কর্মে আমরা পিতৃগণ সন্তুষ্ট হই, তা-ই আমরা বলছি।
