अग्निकार्येषु वै तेषां हव्यं नाश्नाति पावक: । जो प्रज्वलित यज्ञाग्निमें समिधाकी आहुति नहीं देते
agnikāryeṣu vai teṣāṃ havyaṃ nāśnāti pāvakaḥ |
শক্র বললেন—যারা অগ্নিসংক্রান্ত কর্তব্য অবহেলা করে, তাদের হব্য পাৱক গ্রহণ করেন না। যারা প্রজ্বলিত যজ্ঞাগ্নিতে সমিধার আহুতি দেয় না, তাদের অগ্নিহোত্রে অগ্নিদেব হবিশ্য গ্রহণ করেন না; অতএব অগ্নিকে বিধিমতো প্রজ্বলিত করেই আহুতি প্রদান করা উচিত।
