ब्रह्मभूतश्चरन्‌ विप्र: कृष्णद्वैपायन: पुरा । ददर्श कीटं धावन्तं शीघ्रं शकटवर्त्मनि

Transliteration

brahmabhūtaś caran vipraḥ kṛṣṇadvaipāyanaḥ purā | dadarśa kīṭaṃ dhāvantaṃ śīghraṃ śakaṭavartmani ||

Translation

প্রাচীন কালে ব্রহ্মভাব-স্থিত বিচরণশীল বিপ্র কৃষ্ণদ্বৈপায়ন (ব্যাস) গাড়ির চাকার দাগের পথে এক কীটকে অতি দ্রুত ছুটতে দেখলেন।
