अहिंसा-आत्मौपम्य-उपदेशः | Instruction on Ahiṃsā and Self-Comparison Ethics
भरण्यां तु शिरो विद्यात् केशाना्द्रां नराधिप । समाप्ते तु घृतं दद्याद् ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे
bharaṇyāṃ tu śiro vidyāt keśānārdraṃ narādhipa | samāpte tu ghṛtaṃ dadyād brāhmaṇe vedapārage ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে নরাধিপ! ভরণীকে শির এবং আর্দ্রাকে (চন্দ্রের) কেশ বলে জানো। এভাবে নক্ষত্রসমূহকে অঙ্গ-প্রত্যঙ্গে স্থাপন করে তাদের নিজ নিজ মন্ত্রে পূজা করে প্রতিদিন জপ ও হোমাদি পালন করো। পূর্ণিমায় ব্রত সমাপ্ত হলে বেদপারগ ব্রাহ্মণকে ঘৃত দান করো।
