मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

तत्र शंखपताके द्वे युगान्तं कल्पमेव च । अयुतायुतं तथा पद्म समुद्र च तथा वसेत्‌

Transliteration

tatra śaṅkha-patāke dve yugāntaṁ kalpam eva ca | ayutāyutaṁ tathā padma samudraṁ ca tathā vaset ||

Translation

সেখানে ব্রতধারী ব্যক্তি অপরিমেয় দীর্ঘকাল বাস করে—দুই ‘শঙ্খ’ ও দুই ‘পতাকা’ পরিমাণ কাল, তারপর ‘যুগান্ত’, ‘কল্প’, ‘অযুতাযুত’, ‘পদ্ম’ এবং ‘সমুদ্র’—অর্থাৎ ব্রহ্মলোকে অতিদীর্ঘ অবস্থান, যা সংযমী ধর্মাচরণের ফল।
