मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
सिंहव्याप्रप्रयुक्तैस्तु मेघनि:स्वननादितैः
siṁha-vyāghra-prayuktaiḥ tu megha-niḥsvana-nāditaiḥ | tataḥ paścāt bahu-saṅkhyakā rathāḥ sānandaṁ vijaya-ghoṣaṁ kurvantaḥ pravartante | teṣu suvarṇa-mayeṣu nirmaleṣu maṅgala-kāriṣu ratheṣu deva-kanyā āruḍhā bhavanti |
ভীষ্ম বললেন— তাদের পশ্চাতে সিংহ ও ব্যাঘ্রে যোজিত, মেঘগর্জনের ন্যায় গম্ভীর ধ্বনিতে নিনাদিত অসংখ্য রথ অগ্রসর হয়। আনন্দভরে বিজয়ধ্বনি করতে করতে সেই রথগুলি চলে। সেগুলি স্বর্ণময়, নির্মল ও মঙ্গলপ্রদ; তাতে দেবকন্যারা আরূঢ় থাকে।
