भीष्म उवाच अत्र ते वर्णयिष्यामि यथावृत्तं यथाश्रुतम्‌ । रुक्मिणी देवकीपुत्रसंनिधौ पर्यपृच्छत

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te varṇayiṣyāmi yathāvṛttaṃ yathāśrutam | rukmiṇī devakīputrasaṃnidhau paryapṛcchat |

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে রাজন! এ বিষয়ে যা ঘটেছিল এবং আমি যেমন শুনেছি, তেমনই তোমাকে বলছি। দেবকীপুত্র শ্রীকৃষ্ণের সান্নিধ্যে রুক্মিণী শ্রী (লক্ষ্মী)-কে যে প্রশ্ন করেছিলেন, তা আমার কাছ থেকে শোনো।
