आचारो भूतिजनन आचार: कीर्तिवर्धन: । आचाराद् वर्धते ह्यायुराचारो हन्त्यलक्षणम्
ācāro bhūtijanana ācāraḥ kīrtivardhanaḥ | ācārād vardhate hy āyur ācāro hanti alakṣaṇam ||
সদাচারই কল্যাণের জনক, সদাচারই খ্যাতি বৃদ্ধি করে। সদাচার থেকে নিঃসন্দেহে আয়ু বৃদ্ধি পায়, আর সদাচারই অশুভ লক্ষণ ও কুপ্রবৃত্তি বিনাশ করে।
